ESPRIT DE FRANCE – HOTEL BRIGHTON JARDIN DES TUILERIES – PARIS

Opposite the Tuileries garden, an exceptional view of the monuments of Paris.

An exceptional panorama Facing the Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre Museum Built at the beginning of the 19th century on rue de Rivoli by Lord Egerton, the Brighton Hotel was popular with the British who were undertaking the Grand Tour, an initiatory journey intended to perfect the artistic and cultural education of the young bourgeoisie.

Today, the breathtaking view of all of Paris has made this rare address famous and attracts travelers from all over the world. The entrance to the Hotel is majestic: First a mosaic under the arcades, then marble columns, under which stands a marble bust of “Cornelius Van Clève” and where there is a set of old mirrors, high ceilings, French windows… The architecture here bears witness to a rich past.

The splendor continues in the rooms where authentic paintings and engravings are exhibited, most often dating from the 18th and 19th centuries. But what is memorable is the breathtaking view of the city.

From the typical balconies of Paris, the jewels of the capital extend: on the left the Louvre, a former royal residence turned museum, opposite the Tuileries garden, and on the right a perspective opening onto the Place de la Concorde and, at far away, the Eiffel Tower.

An exceptional horizon

In the heart of historic Paris and the fashion district, ideally located on rue de Rivoli and the Tuileries gardens, the Brighton Hotel is a stone’s throw from Place Vendôme, known as the address of the greatest jewelers, and Place Saint-Honoré, famous for its lively cafés and designer boutiques.

Not far away, more confidential addresses line the perimeter of the discreet garden of the Palais Royal. The Brighton hotel is also an ideal base for visiting the Orangerie, Jeu de Paume, Decorative Arts museums and of course the Louvre. And how can you not be tempted by a stroll on the Champs-Elysées?

The Brighton Hotel, 62 rooms and suites of the hotel, individually decorated with antique furniture, have the charm of classic Parisian style, elegant and refined.
